How can a choice change your life, and what stops you from making the decision? It might be the ongoing unknowns or might be the pursuit of a stable life. Believe it or not, when many successful writers choose to treat writing as their career, they struggle a lot.
Grace, the author of My Mate, had been working as a full-time English Language coordinator at two schools since 2014. She has been a fan of reading since she was a kid and started to speculate about her book after reading novels from various genres. But it was still hard for her to decide to treat writing as a full-time job. Because dedicating time to writing meant she had to leave her job also give up a stable income.
Then a turning point appeared. She came across a mindset seminar by Bob Proctor, which gave her the courage to change her mind and step out of her comfort zone. Finally, her first book, My Mate, has achieved huge success from early on, and she has been included in the Stary Exclusive Writer Program within two months.
“Success requires sacrifice and that means you will lose sleep, miss out on going out with friends and quit that nine to five job but the end result is worth it,” Grace said. Now she is ready to gain more success with Stary.
