If there is only a path to success and everyone can follow it, the answer must be perseverance. Here is the story of a 27-year-old girl from Nigeria.
Egbife Unique, AKA Cassydoll at Stary, used to be a stylist before she started writing. As many writers have experienced, her writing career is full of ups and downs. After experiencing the laptop was broken, even getting admitted to the hospital and could not update for three weeks, she still insisted on writing. Now she updates four times a week and always publishes two or three chapters on every update schedule.
Every effort she has put into writing is worth it. Her story, JARED’S ESTRANGED MATE, won a big prize of 6,000 USD in the first Stary Writing Academy. Although this book has achieved huge success and many readers love it, there were also unfavorable and even harsh comments for her. Someone might be scared about these and lose trust in themselves, but not Egbife. She treats negative comments as a flue for her to try harder and do better at creating stories.
“If you get negative comments, don’t get discouraged. Instead, use it as a boost to do better,” Egbife said.
